Expanding Its Türkiye-Based Operations, ATMO Group to Begin Local Production of SWM Motors in Eskişehir. The Initial Goal Is to Launch the G01 Pro Model by September This Year.

The international automotive sales and distribution company ATMO Group continues to expand its investments in Türkiye after entering the market in 2023 with the SWM Motors brand. As a Türkiye-based company aiming to grow in global markets, ATMO Group recently established a joint venture named Urzat Otomotiv A.Ş. in partnership with Urzema Holding. Under this partnership, the first production site has been designated as the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ).

PRODUCTION OF THE G01 PRO MODEL TO BEGIN THIS AUTUMN

ATMO Group CEO Burak Azmanoğlu stated that a preliminary agreement was reached at the end of 2024, saying: “Urzema Holding will take the lead in the production process, and our vehicles will be manufactured at their facilities. ATMO will continue its distribution operations. As SWM, ATMO, and Urzema, we embarked on this journey with the same vision. The process began in the summer of 2023, and we are now in the final stage.”

Azmanoğlu announced that the G01 Pro model, developed specifically for the Turkish market, will be launched this autumn, and added that preparations are underway to include additional models in production in the coming period.

TÜRKİYE TO BECOME A MANUFACTURING AND EXPORT HUB

Emphasizing that the new investment will serve not only the Turkish market but also international markets, Burak Azmanoğlu said:
“The G01 Pro model will enter the market as a locally produced vehicle, featuring a new interior design, upgraded engine-transmission combination, and advanced technology. ATMO Group already operates across the Balkans and Europe, and our goal is to transform Türkiye into an export hub.”

Highlighting their strong growth momentum in Türkiye, Azmanoğlu continued:
“With the start of local production, our domestic sales will accelerate. In parallel, we are expanding our dealership network. Following the production decision, dealership applications have increased significantly. However, we aim to grow with visionary partners without compromising our high service quality. Our goal is to double our dealership network by the end of the year.”

STRATEGIC INVESTMENT IN ESKIŞEHIR

Urzema Holding CEO Murat Ertaş highlighted Eskişehir’s strategic advantages for investment, stating:
“Eskişehir stood out with its transportation infrastructure, strong industrial background, and highly qualified workforce. The assembly, quality control, and testing of SWM Türkiye’s combustion and electric vehicles will all take place in this city. Eskişehir will not only be a production hub but also the center of innovation. Many significant models will be manufactured at our new facilities.”
