SWM Motors Türkiye to Begin Production in September
SWM Türkiye Commercial Director Burak Azmanoğlu announced that production of the G01 Pro model will begin in September at the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ).
Eskişehir to Become the Central Hub
Azmanoğlu stated, “Eskişehir holds both symbolic and strategic importance in Türkiye’s automotive history.” Urzema Holding CEO Murat Ertaş added, “In the first stage, we aim for an annual production of 25,000 vehicles. For us, Eskişehir will not only serve as a production hub but also as a center of technology and innovation.”

SWM Türkiye Commercial Director Burak Azmanoğlu announced that production of the G01 Pro model will begin in September at the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone.
Azmanoğlu stated that a preliminary agreement was reached toward the end of 2024 and shared the following details about the process: “On the production side, Urzema Holding will take the lead, and our vehicles will be manufactured in their facilities. ATMO Group will continue its distribution operations. Both ATMO and our Chinese partner SWM have strong confidence in the Turkish market. With over one million vehicles sold annually, Türkiye has become a key market. We began this journey to explore how we could create added value for this market and have now achieved a milestone that is highly valuable for our country.”
Emphasizing that the process has advanced faster than expected, Azmanoğlu added, “As SWM, ATMO, and Urzema Holding, we started this project with the same vision and determination. Our work began in July–August 2023, and today we are in the final stage. We aim to introduce the G01 Pro, developed specifically for Türkiye, to Turkish consumers this autumn. We are also planning to include additional models in production in the coming period.”
The Eskişehir production hub will serve not only the domestic market but also exports. Azmanoğlu explained, “Currently, our G01 model is available in Türkiye. The locally produced G01 Pro will enter the market with a new interior design, advanced technology, and an updated engine-transmission combination. We are also working on export infrastructure. Since ATMO Group already operates in the Balkans and Europe, positioning Türkiye as an export base is very feasible. This initiative will provide significant added value to the Turkish economy.”
Eskişehir’s Automotive Industry to Rise Again!
Urzema Holding CEO Murat Ertaş emphasized Eskişehir’s strategic importance, stating: “We conducted a long and detailed evaluation process before deciding to invest in Türkiye. Eskişehir stood out with its transport infrastructure, industrial background, supplier network, and qualified workforce. The assembly, quality control, and testing of SWM Türkiye’s combustion and electric vehicles will take place here. This shows that Eskişehir will once again assume a pioneering role in Türkiye’s automotive industry. For us, this city is not only a production center but also the heart of technology and innovation. Many important models will be produced in our new facilities. Eskişehir will add value to us, and we will add value to Eskişehir.”
