ITALIAN BRAND SWM ENTERS THE TURKISH MARKET WITH TWO SUV MODELS!
One of China’s leading and fastest-growing automotive manufacturers, Shineray Group’s subsidiary SWM, has officially entered the Turkish market with the launch of two new SUV models. Represented in Türkiye by the Atmo Group, the Italian automotive brand SWM aims to reshape the market dynamics with its C-SUV segment models, SWM G01 and G01F — both known for their balance of price and performance. SWM also plans to expand its product range in the first quarter of 2024 with four new models — three SUVs and one light commercial vehicle — appealing both to families who love to travel and to consumers seeking a dynamic driving experience.
Stating that SWM is an Italian brand carrying the true Italian spirit, SWM Overseas General Manager Li Guo said:
“The Turkish market is highly competitive, with many global players offering strong products. However, when you look at the complete package of SWM models, we believe they will find their place and earn the respect of customers. As SWM, we are present in more than 30 countries, including Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Argentina, and Singapore. We expect our global sales volume to reach 240,000 vehicles in 2023. Türkiye will make a significant contribution to our worldwide sales.”
ATMO Group Türkiye CEO Anton Chernov added:
“In addition to authentic Italian design, the vehicle’s quality and spacious dimensions will be highly appreciated by family-oriented customers. SWM models are not only practical but also sporty and stylish, appealing to a broader audience. Our goal in the Turkish market is to rank among the top 20 brands in 2024 and among the top 10 in the medium term. In the short term, we plan to complete our organizational structure in major cities such as Istanbul and Ankara. Our dealerships, offering both sales and after-sales services, will be fully operational by January 2024. By the end of 2024, we aim to open 14 dealerships across 12 cities.”
Operating under China’s leading automotive manufacturer Shineray Group, the Italian brand SWM has entered the Turkish market with two new gasoline-powered SUV models. Represented in Türkiye by Atmo Group, the brand has begun sales of its G01 and G01F models, both equipped with 1.5-liter gasoline engines. With lines reflecting Italian design excellence and dimensions pushing the limits of the C-SUV segment, these models are designed to meet the needs of both family-oriented drivers and consumers seeking a dynamic driving experience.
The G01 Comfort trim with manual transmission is offered starting from 922,000 TL, while the Elite trim equipped with a DCT gearbox is priced at 1,199,500 TL. The G01F, available in a single Premium trim combined with a DCT transmission, carries a key-on-the-road price of 1,270,000 TL.
5-Year or 150,000 km Warranty!
Designed in SWM’s design studios in Milan — the capital of fashion and design — the G01 and G01F models combine sophisticated Italian design with German engineering. In addition to being practical SUVs, the G01 and G01F stand out with their sporty and dynamic driving characteristics. Developed in collaboration with the SWM R&D Center and the Italian Research Institute, they feature 1.5T engines that deliver high efficiency and superior performance using technologies from renowned global brands.
With proven quality in EU markets, SWM models are offered in Türkiye with an extended warranty of 5 years or 150,000 kilometers.
Li Guo emphasized once again that SWM is “an Italian brand with a true Italian soul,” adding:
“Many well-known companies today are partially or entirely owned by Chinese investors. These partnerships create advantages for both sides. SWM is a great example of this synergy, and we are proud to now have a presence in the Turkish market.”
Li Guo further stated:
“The Turkish market is extremely competitive, with many global players offering high-quality products. However, when we look at the overall package of SWM models, we believe they will establish their own market and earn customer loyalty. As SWM, we are active in more than 30 countries including Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Argentina, and Singapore. We expect our total global sales volume to reach 240,000 vehicles in 2023. Our sales continue to increase every year, and Türkiye will make a significant contribution to our global success.”
